At the end of May 2010 a number of local people took part in a project to plant the containers on the approaches to the village with vibrant and colourful flowers. This project was funded by Peace III. Over €1,000 has been spent on landscaping. Eamonn Connolly is the project organiser.
Many thanks to the local people who volunteered to plant the containers. Thanks also to the residents along the road who water the hanging baskets and planters throughout the Summer months and keep the flowers blossoming all Summer long.
